The nose and sinuses are important structures where breathing begins, the air is moistened and filtered. Diseases that occur in these areas impair the quality of breathing and can cause many symptoms that reduce the quality of life, such as headache, facial pressure, postnasal drip and loss of smell.

Main Conditions Diagnosed and Treated:

  • Chronic Sinusitis
    It develops as a result of long-term inflammation of the sinuses. It manifests itself with complaints such as headache, facial pain, nasal congestion and postnasal drip. In cases that do not improve with medication, endoscopic sinus surgery can be applied.

  • Nasal Allergies (Allergic Rhinitis)
    It develops due to allergens such as pollen, dust, pet hair. Runny nose, itching, sneezing and congestion are the most common symptoms.

  • Nasal Polyps
    They are benign swellings that develop inside the nose. They usually occur due to allergies. They cause complaints such as nasal congestion, smell disorders and postnasal drip.

  • Olfactory Disorders (Anosmia / Hyposmia)
    It may develop as a result of infections, allergies, traumas or nerve damage. Evaluation is done with detailed examination and some special tests.

  • Nose Bleeding (Epistaxis)
    It usually occurs due to sensitivity or drying of the intranasal vessels. In some cases, underlying systemic diseases should also be investigated.

  • Nasal Congestion and Deformities (Septum Deviation, Nasal Concha Enlargement)
    Curvatures in the nose or turbinate growths can block airflow and cause constant congestion. Surgical intervention may be necessary for both aesthetic and functional reasons.

With modern diagnostic methods and advanced surgical techniques, the vast majority of nose and sinus diseases can be successfully treated. It is possible to regain your quality of life with an ENT examination applied at the right time.
